WEEKLY NEWS 8!!

Protests in Manhattan.

BBC news reported on the protests taking place in Manhattan following the news that Donald Trump has become the 45th President of the United States. Roughly 2,000 people are marching through the streets of New York shouting 'He is not my President'. BBC news also reported that American cities have seen nightly protests by people furious at the new Presidents controversial policies. Donald Trump beating Hillary Clinton was a shock after opinion polls favoured Mrs Clinton in becoming the next President. Donald Trump has been responding to some of the issues the protestors have brought forward, saying he is open to leave key parts of 'Obama Care' and has also said that e will focus on more important priorities such as healthcare and border control.

The news report based on the protest is important because there has been allot of controversy based around the election and the people running for the Presidential role. It was clear that there was a divide between voters and that there would be some issues no matter who was elected to become the next President of the United States.
