Kanye for President!!
In the news lately Kanye
West announced at the MTV awards that he will be running for President in 2020.
Who would want Kanye as their president? He is hardly the best example/role
model and everything would be a disaster.
Prior to his announcement Kanye
was invited on stage to collect his MTV video award (presented by Taylor
Swift). During his speech he announced that he wanted to run for President and
also admitted that he smoked a joint before coming on to the stage. Kanye’s
speech became viral with almost every celebrity gossip TV show or magazine
reporting the story.
We could all agree that
Kanye’s behaviour has made allot of headlines in the recent months, saying the
he “is the greatest” and stating that he was a “God”. In my opinion, Kanye
speaks to high of himself as he thinks that he is better than others when in
fact he is the same as everybody else. Although over a few months we have seen
Kanye's nicer side as he donated $133,000 to a charity in honour of his late
mother, we cannot forget his outbursts with the press and the humiliation of
Taylor Swift.
Due to Kanyes habit to be
unpredictable, no one knows if he actually in fact will run for president or
not. In my opinion, I believe that although Kanye does have some admirable
traits, he would not make a good president.
