North Carolina police shoot a black man after wife tells them not to shoot.
BBC news released a video of Keith Scott being shot by North Carolina Police after his wife Rakeyia Scott recorder the event begging the police not to shoot. The police where searching for another person wanted for arrest and there are conflicts about the events that led up to the death of Keith Scott. In the video the police asked Keith to drop the gun he was holding whereas his wife insisted that he did not have a gun. Following this death, people protested and chanted 'No justice, No peace'. Protestors have asked for the police dash cams to be released to the public so people can see what really happened but the police have defended themselves on why the video should not be released. This is one of many other serious cases where police are being accused of wrong full killing.
In my opinion, I think that there is a problem in America especially over gun laws and police corruption. Recently, there has been a massive increase in the amount of incidents that have taken place regarding the police and black males. I think that the police in America are abuse their power but also aren't given the right training to deal with situations similar to this one.
